Handball club with ~450 members. 6 womens teams, 3 mens teams and many youth teams. We love playing handball, but also value parties and social gatherings very highly. We welcome beginners as well as established players. Membership fee is DKK 650/800 for half a year, but you are welcome to come try out a few training sessions before joining the club. See you!

Aalborg Martial Arts: Dansk, English

Check Aalborg Martial Arts is a martial arts association run by volunteers, offering classes in Kickboxing, Muay Thai, MMA, Boxing and other related activities. All levels and ages are welcome to become members and participate in the training.

We offer a 14 day free trial membership, afterwards 199.- DKK per month for adults, 75.- DKK / 125.- DKK for young people between 11 and 17 years, free for children between 7 and 11 years.

Aalborg Skakforening af 1889: Dansk, English

Aalborg Chess Club meets every Tuesday from 17:30 at Aalborg Technical Gymnasium, Nyhavnsgade 14, 2nd floor (use the stairs right next to Friis Shopping Center).

Lessons for juniors and other interested parties start at 17:30. Club tournaments and team matches in the North Jutland team tournament start at 19:00.

You are always welcome to visit the club to see if chess is something for you, if you want to learn how to play chess, have played before and now want to find new opponents, or if you think you are good, we can also find someone who can challenge you.

We have players with ratings from 1000 to 2200. For new players, we offer a quarter of a year without membership fees.
